Speaker Information:

Roxanne Wilson is an accomplished speaker focusing on college students and business professionals.  Roxanne Wilson, an appellate attorney, recently completed season five of NBC’s “The Apprentice” with Donald Trump, gaining rave reviews from The Donald himself. Roxanne was the first African-American woman to make it to the final four.

During the season, Trump stated, “Roxanne is very, very smart….brilliant…she is really something.” He told Roxanne, “You’re [Roxanne] a very good speaker… I would like to have you represent me in court.  You are very impressive.”
 
Roxanne’s background spans many areas and is filled with significant accomplishments. In addition to serving as an attorney at Winstead, Sechrest & Minick P.C., Wilson clerked for two justices on the Supreme Court of Texas.
 

Roxanne earned her law degree at the University of Michigan where she was awarded the Irving Stenn Jr. award for her contributions to the University of Michigan Law School. During her undergraduate studies at Baylor University, Roxanne was the first woman and second African American member of the prestigious Baylor Chamber of Commerce, founded in 1919, for which she later served as President.
  

Roxanne is involved in her community as a founding member of the Riverbend Church young professional's group, and is a Jazzercise instructor and franchisee.  Roxanne has been named a Make-A-Wish Foundation Ambassador and serves on the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Austin Affiliate Board.
 

She recently appeared on FOX’s morning show in Austin, Texas and interviewed the biggest names in hip hop on the red carpet at the 1st Annual BET Hip Hop Awards.  Roxanne’s first inspirational and motivational book is due out January 2007.
